Filmmaker, Umesh Shukla has managed to convince actor Kareena Kapoor Khan to work opposite Abhishek Bachchan in his upcoming movie, Mere Apne.

After Abhishek’s split with Karisma Kapoor, the relations between the two families had deteriorated, Shukla’s film will bring the two actors together
after a decade.The film will also see actor Rishi Kapoor play Abhishek’s father.
