Aishwarya Rai is contemplating a comeback, but the actress is yet to give her nod to any film. Recently, there were reports of her being signed for Karan Johar’s production Shuddhi; however, sources claim she wasn’t even approached for the film.

Buzz had it that Karan Johar is keen on roping in Aishwarya Rai for Shuddhi that stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. And though there is no denying that Ash and Hrithik Roshan look good on big screen, the makers have already finalized Kareena Kapoor Khan for the movie.

Sources close to Aishwarya Rai deny that the actress was being approached for the film. On the contrary, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was apparently the first choice for the role, is reportedly the lead actress opposite Hrithik Roshan in Shuddhi.

In fact, it’s even learnt that Kareena Kapoor Khan has already allotted her dates to the film, which will roll by the year-end.

Now the question arises: when will Aishwarya Rai be back on the silver screen? A few days back at the launch of the new showroom of Kalyan Jewelers in Pune, Ash cleared the air. “I didn't go anywhere so how will I make a comeback. Somehow I do not understand the word. I have just stayed away from films. Once I sign a film, a formal announcement will be made,” Aishwarya is quoted as saying.

Now as her toddler is growing fast, the new mom can manage time to devote to her career. Also, she is getting back into shape. Indeed Bollywood awaits its most beautiful actress Aishwarya Rai!
