Another co-star Amrita enjoyed working with in Satyagraha, was Kareena Kapoor Khan: “I have always been in awe of Mr Raj Kapoor. So Kareena and I shared quite a few good moments talking about her grandfather.

She told me about her visits to R.K. Studio, her memories of him. She (Kareena) was very small, just six, when her grandfather died, and this is what she regrets.”


Then where did all those reports about catfights between the two actresses emanate? “I do not believe in having catfights,” Amrita replies. “I have a few scenes with Kareena in Satyagraha and we shared a good rapport. Kareena is a simple, loving soul.”
