From Amitabh Bachchan and SRK to Bipasha Basu and Esha Deol, Bollywood stars have been named in tons of fights. Now the latest goss is that in retaliation to Kareena Kapoor insinuating that she is not an actress, Priyanka Chopra retorted with "Everybody has a right to their opinion. I consider Kareena an actress." Pretty tactful we think but it makes us wonder if this little catfight between the reigning Bollywood divas will ever end! Here's a look at other infamous Bollywood catfights that make us go, 'Aarrggh!'
1.Kareena Kapoor vs Priyanka Chopra
The actresses were BFFs on the sets of Aitraaz but when PC walked away with the accolades for the movie, Bebo was miffed. The catfight only worsened when Priyanka started dating her ex Shahid Kapoor and ever since it's been one war of words after another with both actresses taking subtle digs at the other (read: PC's 'Poo' spoof, Kareena's remark on PC's accent)! Rumour has it that the two recently hugged and buried the hatchet. Guess only time will tell.
2.Vivek Oberoi vs Salman Khan
Aishwarya Rai was the root cause of this one. Apparently after leaving Salman, she instigated new boyfriend Vivek to call a press con where he suggested Salman go to jail or a mental hospital! (Bad move!) Anyway, after Ash dropped him like a hot potato, Vivek learnt his lesson and apologised publicly but to no avail. The latest is that Sallu ignored Vivek and wife Priyanka Alva at the recent Star Screen Awards! And the so the fight continues
3.Aamir Khan vs Sharukh Khan
If you thought catfights are restricted to women, you're so wrong! The Khans have been in constant competition for the No.1 spot in Bollywood. Of course, neither of the two ever admits it. In fact, they refer to each other as "dear friends"... (aww!) Well, then why would you say you had a dog named Shahrukh who licks your feet everyday for attention, Aamir? Lately though the two seem to have stopped taking potshots at each other. Honestly, we prefer it this way.
4.Aishwarya Rai vs Sonam Kapoor
As if the two are even in the same league to have a catfight at all; but in B-town anything can happen. Ash, the international face of a certain cosmetic brand was reportedly outraged that Sonam Kapoor (the Indian face of the brand) was to walk the Cannes Red Carpet along with her. She reportedly created such a hue and cry that the brand had to inform poor li'l Sonam that she wouldn't be going to Cannes after all. Ash is quite the bully, we think!
5.Deepika Padukone vs Katrina Kaif
This catfight was all thanks to Bollywood playboy Ranbir Kapoor. When Deepika was dating the actor she heard that he was cheating on her with Katrina while the two were shooting for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Deepika flew to the sets in Goa only to confirm her worst fears. She'd been up in arms ever since until one of KJo's parties where they patched up. Now KJo even wants to cast them both in Dostana 2 :D
