And on top of that list is blockbuster Sholay.

Taking into account the fact that these remakes will be made in 2013 - there will a significant change in the dialogues, settings etc. This is our tribute to the timeless classics of Indian cinema.

Directed by Ramesh Sippy, the film starred Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Jaya Bhaduri and Amjad Khan. In our remake, we feel Abhishek Bachchan is the best choice for the role of Jai (originally played by his father Amitabh Bachchan). The actor has many things in common with his legendary father including height, intensity and baritone voice. There is no other actor who can be pitted against him for this role.

Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be part of the film.

Dharmendra perfectly played the role of Veeru in Sholay. Now, with Abhishek Bachchan on board for Jai, there can't be a better choice than Bobby Deol for the role of Veeru.

There was a popular dialogue in the original Sholay, “Basanti! In kutto ke samne mat nachna.”
We wonder how Bobby will deliver the same dialogue in 2013 remake. Will it be “Bebo! Papaa ne in kutto ke samne nachne se mana kiya hai.”

Story of Sholay was about the bonding between two friends Jai and Veeru. There was a famous song ‘Yeh dosti hum nahi todenge’ in original Sholay where Amitabh and Dharmendra were captured riding a bike.

In the remake, Bobby and Abhishek will be seen driving a latest luxury car and also Veeru might threaten to kill himself by consuming drugs instead of jumping from a water tank.

Rishi Kapoor can be the perfect choice for the role of Thakur.His new dialouge will be, ‘Yeh hath hath nehin, AK-47 hai!’

Hema Malini’s daughter Esha Deol recently said that no actress can play Basanti in Sholay like her mother.But we think Kareena Kapoor is perfect for the role of Basanti, thanks to her vibrant acting in Jab We Met.In the original Hema was tonga rider, what will Kareena ride in the remake.
