Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan worked together in ‘Bodyguard’. The movie was a hit and the pair was highly applauded. Keeping the same in view, Salman wants to paint the same chemistry in Sooraj’s next movie.
The movie is yet to get a title. The movie will go on floor next year.
“While Barjatya has a few other names in his mind, Salman has told him that he would like Kareena to be paired opposite him.” a source said.
However another source said, “There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide.”
It is rumored that Ileana D’Cruz has been roped in for this movie. Ileana confirmed the news to a Hindi newspaper.
It is also said that this movie might have two leading actresses as Salman Khan might be seen in a double role. So, it is obvious for Salman to recommend the name of an actress with whom he is comfortable.
The movie will release on Diwali 2015. With this movie, even Sooraj Barjatya will be making a comeback in Bollywood. He has given hit movies like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Vivah’.
A few industry sources also speculated that the film might be titled ‘Bade Bhaiyya’ and Salman would appear as ‘Prem’. Casts of the film will be finalized shortly. A source said, “By then, he'll (Sooraj) have also finalised the music team and will commence the sittings. There are at least half-a-dozen tracks in the film. The melody will be the highlight of the soundtrack.”
Salman Khan last worked with Sooraj Barjatya in 1999 in ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. During the filming of this movie in Jodhpur, Salman was charged with the hunting of black bucks. This incident soured the relationship between the two.
This will be Salman’s second movie with a double role. 16 years back, he did a double role in David Dhavan’s movie ‘Judwaa’. Salman has scheduled 160 days for the shooting of the upcoming movie.
