Fans of the Kapoor khaandaan, who had been waiting with baited breath to see Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan play siblings on-screen, will have to wait longer as junior RK is indeed running short of dates for the film starring his real life cousin, Kareena.

The film in question will be directed by Zoya Akhtar and is believed to be based on her real life equation with her brother Farhan.

Zoya was keen to cast Ranbir in the film so that his real life bonding with sister Kareena could reflect on-screen perfectly. But the filmmaker could not wait any longer, and therefore, is thinking of signing Ranveer Singh for her ambitious project.
