Zoya Akhtar's next has been in the news for many reasons, firstly as it is inspired from her relationship with brother, Farhan Akhar, and secondly, because the movie was meant to unite superstar cousins, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, for the first time onscreen.

The supporting cast, allegedly Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan, was also reason for news due to the rumoured affair between Ranbir & Katrina, while ex-flames Kareena and Hrithik, were uniting onscreen after a 10 year break.

Recent reports indicate that Ranbir Kapoor has opted out of the project, due to date issues, and speculation then indicated, Kareena was to also be replaced. Her fans, however will be glad to know, that Kareena shall be retained, and most likely, Ranveer Singh, her ardent fan and admirer, will be seen playing her brother. The duo, were meant to be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', but Kareena opted out, and was replaced by Deepika Padukone.

Despite the jarring difference in looks between Kapoor, and Singh, it will be intriguing to see the two of them together onscreen, albeit as siblings. The film is scheduled to take of at the end of 2013.
